We are pleased to announce the addition of new members to the Annie in the Water lineup: Bassist Billy Comstock (aka Bangstafunk) and Keyboardist JD Tolstoi.
Joshua West continues to hold it down on the drums, and of course, Brad Hester and Michael Lashomb continue to rip the acoustic and electric respectively.
The music has taken a Funk-fusion turn into the land of jazzy undertones while it continues to ride on thick raggae grooves that compliment the jamrock style. 5-part harmonies by homies will be a musical motif delivering conscious lyrics and stellar melodies, and at the same time, the music will have an incredible ability to create a path of its own into unknown musical worlds.
It's only been since April 1, but it already feels like it's been 10 years! After a successful April traveling all over the Northeast playing shows at places such as (((The Hall Brooklyn, The Higher Ground in Burlington VT, The Rack in Sugarloaf ME, Colgate University in Hamilton NY, The Waterhole in Saranac Lake NY, Olive Ridley's in Plattsburgh NY, Maxfields in Potsdam NY, and Penuche's in Manchester NH))) , it was quick to see how enjoyable every show has the potential to become.
This summer's festival list includes (but is not limited to) The Frendly Gathering, Discjam, Strange Creek, Taste of Syracuse, Upstate Boogie at Eddy Ridge Farm, Sterling Stage, Saranac Thursdays, Woodhenge, and more to come.
The sights are collectively set high by everyone in the band, and we can't wait to bring the sound to your city!!
